I’ve had a series of counseling sessions with Kingdom Mission Counseling. Mary is my Counselor. I had complications with relapse with addiction. I had subjected myself to things that caused mental torment, and feelings of worthlessness. I was looking for freedom from this bondage and receive my peace and joy back. She is helping me realize my true identity in Christ through Scripture and guiding me to a prayer life and how to deepen my personal relationship with Christ. I am feeling lighter, the condemnation and guilt is gone as she has guided me to scripture that brought TRUTH into my life. Mary came over and did a detox with me. I am a recovering addict. At the time, I was getting off of methadone. Methadone typically has some pretty serious and uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms. We did the detox. Mary was very informative about the process, and it was very simple. The best part of it was that I never used methadone again and NEVER HAD A SINGLE WITHDRAWAL SYMPTOM!
